Robber's Cave (Guchhupani)
A remarkable natural cave formation with a stream running through it. Walk through cool waters and emerge at a hidden waterfall inside the cave. Best visited early morning before crowds arrive.

Sahastradhara
Thousand-fold spring with sulphur water believed to have healing properties. The natural rock formations, small waterfalls, and pools make for a photogenic visit. A cable car offers valley views.
Concierge tip: Visit on weekdays to avoid crowds. Best in the morning.

Tapkeshwar Temple
An ancient Shiva temple built inside a natural cave with water naturally dripping (tapak) on the Shivalinga. The setting is profoundly serene. The morning aarti at 6 AM is worth setting an alarm for.

Forest Research Institute (FRI)
One of the finest examples of Indo-colonial architecture in India, set on a 450-hectare campus. Six museums, a botanical garden, and sweeping lawns. A must-visit for architecture and nature lovers.

Rajpur Road
Dehradun's most vibrant street — lined with excellent restaurants, artisan cafes, bookshops, clothing boutiques, and sweet shops. Perfect for an afternoon stroll or evening out.

Mindrolling Monastery
One of the largest Buddhist centres in India. The Great Stupa at 185 feet is awe-inspiring. The prayer halls are beautifully decorated and the grounds are meticulously maintained — a deeply peaceful place.

Mussoorie
The Queen of Hills — Mussoorie sits at 2,000m with spectacular Himalayan views. Explore Mall Road, ride the ropeway to Gun Hill, visit Kempty Falls, and enjoy the colonial-era charm. A perfect day trip.

Haridwar & Ganga Aarti
One of India's holiest cities sits at the point where the Ganges emerges from the Himalayas. The evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri is one of the most spectacular religious ceremonies you'll witness.

Rishikesh
